Where it all began..
Hi! My name is Shaienda, the creative force behind Nanda Marie Photography. My passion for photography ignited when I was 7 years old. I started out with disposable cameras, my mom used to take me to the store to get them developed because I was too young to go by myself of course. As I got older, I was able to go and get them developed by myself. As the years went by, when I was 36 years old in 2019 I decided to make a Facebook page to put my photos up that I have taken over time. I realized that a captured moment lasts forever and time moves forward not backwards. Moments in our lives aren't disposable, they're precious and need to be preserved. Let me tell you a little bit more about my journey and why I became self taught. It has always been important to me because with me realizing nothing last forever I try to photograph things that will be needed in due time. People always reach out to me to see if I have a photograph of something that was a memory of theirs that they didn't have. My advice to you all is take photos of your loved ones even if they say no because when they leave this earth that is all you will have left of them. You will always want to treasure everything, you never know when you will have to go and find that photograph you have taken in the past. Most of the photos that I have taken were thrown away, but they were preserved and as I have gotten older, the few that I have left helped me to realize the importance of memories. The main photos I really love to take are Nature ones, the reason for it is because when I am outside I feel at peace. When I am in the Nature atmosphere I just feel refreshed. Seeing the animals, the different cycles of the Moon phrases, the different colors of the Sunrise and Sunsets, it just shows the beauty of what God has made.
